I'm sorry. Something came up and I couldn't get away. Daddy wanted to talk to me about everything that's been going on, with all of those ... papers, and we talked for a really long time, but I couldn't get away ... !! I'm sorry. I hope you're all right.

I know I can get away Friday, though ... I know I can. It's always so busy on Fridays. Can you come to see me then??
